Medical Laboratory Technology is a branch of medical science that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of patients using medical laboratory tests. Samples of blood, urine, stool, etc. are collected from patients and then tests are conducted to determine the disease in the patient’s body. Medical Laboratory Technology is an example of applied science which mainly focuses on conducting tests and acquiring results.

Duration of course: 3 years (6 semesters)

Due to the acute shortage of people with laboratory knowledge, the job opportunities in this field are on escalation and it is worth pursuing the course.

B.Voc in Medical Laboratory Technology from Glocal University

B.Voc in Medical Laboratory Technology is a vocational medical program that enhances students’ skills and knowledge that are required to work in a medical laboratory. Subjects like anatomy, physiology, Biochemistry, and Hematology are taught in this UGC and AICTE-approved 3-year Medical Laboratory Technology degree course and after completion, a degree in medical laboratory technology is provided to the students through which they are certified to work in a government and private medical laboratories.
